Microsoft Exchange configuration may not run due to installation of OSR2.
Cause:
Windows 95 OEM Service Release 2 was installed on the computer, overwriting the current Microsoft Exchange configuration files.
Solution:
Install Microsoft Exchange (Windows Messaging) on the computer.
Do one of the following:
1) Install Microsoft Exchange (Windows Messaging) if the 'Inbox' icon appears on the desktop:
a) Double-click the 'Inbox' icon. (The 'Inbox Setup' Wizard appears.)
b) Select the 'Microsoft Mail' check box.
c) Click 'OK'.
d) Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of Microsoft Exchange.
2) Install Microsoft Exchange (Windows Messaging) if the 'Inbox' icon does not appear on the desktop:
a) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
b) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
c) Double-click the 'Add/Remove Programs' icon. (The 'Add/Remove Programs Properties' dialog box appears.)
d) Click the 'Windows Setup' tab.
e) Select the 'Windows Messaging' check box in the 'Components' list box.
f) Click 'OK'.
g) Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of Microsoft Exchange.
